Liquid foundations are probably my most favorite thing in make up! There's nothing like finding the most amazing foundation that you know you're happy with and don't have to worry about.
Like most women, I am really unhappy with my skin. I was pretty lucky as a teenager with clear skin but when I hit my 20's it started to go a big crazy.
I've tried so many foundations and I have a list of others that I want to give a bash.
One of the foundations I've tried in the last few months is the Avon 24K Gold Radiant foundation.
Avon 24K Gold Radiant foundation
I've used this foundation in both my kit and my own make up bag.
Like everything I put in my kit, I used it first on myself to get a feel for it.
This foundation contains real gold particles that give a beautiful glowing and dewy finish to the skin.
Due to my skin being quite oily, this foundation wasn't very good for me but that's purely down to my skin type, not the quality of the product. It would suit someone with normal to dry skin a lot better.
As a product, this foundation was beautiful on all my clients that I used it on. Most clients asked for the name and colour as they wanted to get it for themselves.

Revlon colorstay and MAC Studio Sculpt
These are the foundations I'm currently using on myself.
The one on the left is Revlon ColorStay No# 15 and on the right MAC Studio sculpt NW25.
The Revlon ColorStay foundation is a lovely, light feeling foundation that offers nice, even coverage without feeling very heavy and greasy on the skin.
It says on the bottle that it lasts 24 hours but I don't feel it actually does, but maybe It's just my skin type again. Don't get me wrong, It lasts nicely for a working day, ie 8 hrs or so, but It certainly wouldn't last 24 hours. Not for me anyway.
The MAC studio sculpt is a well known, full coverage foundation that gives a flawless, complete finish to the skin.
If you are not a fan on heavier feeling foundations, this is not for you. In order for this foundation to give you the great coverage that it gives, It has to be thick.
Personally, I like a thick consistency to my liquid foundations as I feel like the coverage would be a lot better in comparison to that of a thinner consistency foundation.
So what I do is.....mix the two of them together!
The two colours combined make a perfect colour for my skin tone. I'm a huge fan of mixing together and customizing colours.
These two foundations work beautifully together.
Both are SPF15. Not that we really need it in Ireland. MINGING WEATHER!
